Submission Criteria to Phcog Res.

Rapid Publication Process
Papers submitted for the rapid publication process must meet these criteria:

  • Articles covering in-depth research findings related to Natural Products, with a maximum of 2,500-3,500 total words in the text, figure legends, and references (this is approximately equivalent to 3-4 single -spaced manuscript pages in 12 point font) and a maximum of three figures and two tables is permissible.
  • They must be written clearly; the text must be understandable to the general reader of the journal, and the figures must be labeled adequately so that they are easily interpretable.
  • They must be timely, reporting new experimental results with the interest to a broad readership. The format of the paper should be the same as Phcog Mag. Download instruction to authors
  • They should be submitted only through e-mail (submit@phcogres.com) with a subject “Rapid Publication” No hard copy submission is entertained
    The submissions will be valid for only 30 days
  • The submissions will be considered for a single issue, in case of delay due to modifications, it should be resubmitted as fresh submission for next consequent issue.
  • As guaranteed, the peer review process will last up to 15 days.
    The submission deadline is every 15th day of alternate month. For example, 15th February is last date for next Issue releasing March.
  • The publication will be available only Online in PDF format.
  • This project is a joint initiative of InPharm Association, Authors are encouraged to join InPharm Association

The following topics are excluded for publication in Phcog Res.

DO NOT SUBMIT Short Reports, Short Papers and findings covering Extracts with preliminary pharmacological activities such as, Antibacterial, Anti-fungal, Antipyretic, Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, Anti-nociceptive, Hepatoprotective, Anthelmintic, Diuretic, Immunomodulatory Activities and Preliminary Pharmacognostical Studies, etc.
